Dreamora (“Dreamora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a parent-facing service that helps families create and read personalized bedtime stories. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our websites, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for adults (typically parents or guardians) in the United States. We do not knowingly offer the Service directly to children. If you allow a child to listen to or participate in a story session while you are present, you are responsible for that supervision.

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Service:

• Device and technical data: for example, a device or browser identifier we store locally to associate your session with saved preferences and content (such as story progress), IP address, and basic diagnostic or log data.
• Account-related data: if you create or use an account in the future, we may collect identifiers such as email address, authentication tokens, and profile settings.
• Content you provide: story themes, optional child profile fields you choose to enter (such as a first name, age range, or companion), and messages or choices you submit while using interactive features.
• Payment data: if you purchase a subscription, payment information is typically processed by a third-party payment processor or app store; we generally receive limited billing status rather than full card numbers.
• Support communications: information you send when you contact us (such as your email address and the content of your message).

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including generating and delivering personalized stories).
• Save progress, sync content across sessions tied to your device or account, and operate optional features such as child profiles.
• Communicate with you about the Service, respond to support requests, and send important notices.
• Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, protect security, and comply with law.
• Develop analytics in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.

Story text and related outputs may be produced using automated systems, including large language models. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. You should review content before sharing it with a child and use your judgment about what is appropriate for your family.

We may send portions of your prompts, profile details you have provided, and conversation context to AI providers we use to operate the Service, subject to our agreements with those providers.

Dreamora is a parent-directed product. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement consistent with applicable law.

If you choose to enter information about your child (for example, to personalize a story), you represent that you have the authority to provide that information. You may request deletion of such information as described in the “Your choices” section below.

If you believe we have collected information from a child in a way that should not have occurred, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and address the issue.

We may share information with:

• Service providers who assist us with hosting, analytics, security, email, customer support, payments, or AI processing, bound by contractual obligations.
• Professional advisors (such as lawyers or accountants) where necessary.
• Authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate notices where required.

We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics in prohibited ways.

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in (when available), remember preferences, measure basic performance, and protect the Service. You can control some of these through your browser settings; disabling them may limit functionality.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and how it is used. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may contact us at hello@getdreamora.app to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to applicable exceptions. We may need to verify your request before responding.

If you use device-based storage today, clearing site data or contacting us may be required to remove certain records associated with your use.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, rights to know, delete, or correct certain personal information, and to appeal certain decisions). We will honor applicable rights as required by law.

If your state provides a right to opt out of “sale” or certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may contact us as described above. We do not currently engage in activities that would require sale/sharing opt-out for Dreamora beyond what is described in this policy.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (such as a banner in the product or email where we have your address).
